These terms govern any purchase made through scalehaus.ae, operated by ScaleHaus Diecast in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Placing an order means you accept them.

About us

ScaleHaus is a curator and reseller of diecast and resin scale model cars. We don’t manufacture any of the models we sell — we source genuine releases from established and emerging diecast manufacturers and select what we think is worth a place on a collector’s shelf. Every model is a licensed scale reproduction made by its own manufacturer; ScaleHaus is not the manufacturer of record for any product listed on this site.

Collector items, not toys

Our models are detailed collector pieces, not children’s toys. Many have small, opening or removable parts — doors, mirrors, engine covers, display stands — that present a choking hazard. Unless a listing states otherwise, our models are intended for adult collectors and are not suitable for children under 14 without direct adult supervision. Product photography aims to be as accurate as possible, but screen colour can vary slightly from the physical piece, and manufacturers occasionally make small running changes between production batches.

Trademarks & vehicle likenesses

Car brand names, logos and vehicle designs shown on this site are trademarks of their respective automotive manufacturers, reproduced under license by the diecast manufacturers who actually make the models. ScaleHaus Diecast is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of the automotive manufacturers whose vehicles are depicted.

Pricing & availability

• All prices are listed in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include 5% VAT for orders within the UAE.
• We work hard to keep stock counts accurate, but with low-production collector pieces, occasionally an item sells out before the site catches up. If that happens on your order, we’ll contact you straight away with the option of a refund, a substitute, or waiting for the next batch.
• If a price is displayed incorrectly due to a genuine listing error, we’ll contact you before charging or shipping anything, and you can cancel with a full refund if you’d rather not proceed at the corrected price.
• Prices and availability can change at any time without notice.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a guaranteed sale — we confirm it once payment clears and stock is verified. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for reasons including suspected fraud, a pricing or listing error, or a model turning out to be unavailable. If we cancel an order you’ve already paid for, you get a full refund.

Payment

We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and pay-later instalments through Tabby. Card and PayPal payments are processed securely — we never see or store your full card details. Choosing Tabby means you’re also agreeing to Tabby’s own terms, including any eligibility check they run — that’s between you and Tabby, not something ScaleHaus controls.

Shipping & delivery

Full timelines and rates are on our Shipping page. In short: UAE orders ship next working day, GCC in 2–4 working days, and the rest of the world in 5–10 working days, all tracked and insured. Risk of loss passes to you once a parcel is handed to the courier. For orders shipped outside the UAE, any import duty or local tax charged by the destination country is the recipient’s responsibility — we ship delivery-duty-unpaid, so factor that in before ordering internationally.

Returns, exchanges & cancellations

• You can return an unopened, undisplayed model in its original packaging within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
• The packaging is part of the collectible — once a box has been opened, the item generally can’t be resold as new, so we can only accept opened returns if the model itself is faulty.
• Limited-edition, numbered or made-to-order pieces are sold as final sale unless they arrive faulty or damaged, given how difficult these are for us to resell once returned.
• To start a return, email cs@scalehaus.ae with your order number — we’ll confirm eligibility and send return instructions. Unless the return is due to our error, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
• Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving the item back.
• Want to cancel before it ships? Email us as soon as possible — if it hasn’t left our facility yet, we’ll cancel and refund in full, no questions asked.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items

Every model is inspected before it leaves us, but transit damage can still happen. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, email cs@scalehaus.ae within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and its packaging. We’ll sort a replacement, exchange or refund — your choice — and cover the cost, since it’s on us to put right.

Cookies, tracking & advertising

By using scalehaus.ae you accept that we use cookies and the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising pixel to measure and improve our advertising. It records the pages and products you view, items added to your cart, and when you start or complete a purchase. When you place an order, we send Meta the order value and items, together with your email address, phone number and name in hashed form, so Meta can attribute the sale to the ad that led to it. Acceptable use

Use the site to browse and buy, not to scrape, resell our listings elsewhere without permission, attempt to breach its security, or interfere with how it works for other visitors. We can suspend or refuse service to anyone who does.

Our liability

We’re liable for supplying the models you ordered as described, in reasonable condition and within a reasonable time. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your order, or for delays caused by a courier, customs authority, or anything else genuinely outside our control. Nothing here limits any right you have under UAE consumer protection law that can’t legally be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute that can’t be resolved directly between us falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business grows — the date at the top always reflects the latest version. Continuing to shop with us after a change means you accept the updated terms; if a change is significant, we’ll flag it rather than let it pass quietly.
